The Head of State pointed out that there are samples of good farms in every district; they are beacons to look up to, and we need just to repeat their experience.

In October, the Head of State visited the Parokhonskoye farm in the Brest Region which has become a leader in Polesie, and now its experience is being extended to the entire region. The President believes that the Vitebsk Region should follow the same path.

“We should always start from the ground. What is useful on the land, as practice confirms, this is the way to go. There is no need for any cosmic goals and ideas. It’s very difficult, it’s only possible for those who have a lot of money, and it doesn’t always work out. That’s why, living on earth, seeing what nature gives us and what can be cultivated here, we can do great things. I really want our Vitebsk Region – I will not say loud phrases – to flourish... I really want smiling people to live here. I really want them to have smiles on their faces and joy in their souls.”

The President once again stressed that the agrarians of Belarus are the real patriots. No matter what happens in the country, they always work and do their best for the homeland.

“We will do in the next two or three years what we have not done, and you will see it, including in the Vitebsk Region,” Aleksandr Lukashenko concluded.
