Lukashenko presented with symbolic polyhedron by university graduates
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has been presented today with a gift from 2024 university graduates during the awards ceremony for graduates and teachers of higher education institutions at the Palace of Independence
The gift – made of stainless steel and wood – symbolises the versatility of Belarus’ achievements. Each facet embodies the history of the victory of our state across various fields of activity, which are displayed in one polyhedron as a sign of the unity of the Belarusian people.
The first hexagonal facet symbolises the quality of Belarusian education and the passion of Belarusians for science; the second stands for the country’s achievements in heavy and light industry; the third facet reflects the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture; the fourth demonstrates the high achievements of Belarusian athletes at international and world competitions; the fifth symbolises knowledge, the learning process, the creation of a new one based on the wisdom of past generations; the sixth facet showcases Belarus’ natural symbols; the seventh is the diligence of Belarusian citizens, the continuity of generations; and the eighth means the unity of people of different professions.
The five quadrangular faces depict the National Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and the logos of the landmark events of 2024.
