Lukashenko presented with national flag unfurled in Antarctica by participants of Antarctic expedition

During today’s meeting of the President with scientists and participants of the Belarusian Antarctic expeditions, the participants of the 16th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition presented Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko with Belarus’ national flag, unfurled in a remote area of Antarctica, BelTA reports

The national flag of the Republic of Belarus was unfurled on January 20th, 2024, by the participants of the 16th Belarusian Antarctic Expedition – Aleksei Gaidashov, Vitaly Khilko, Yegor Korzun – at the end point of the route of their multi-day scientific hike to a remote unexplored area of Antarctica: Mount Mariner.
