Lukashenko: our clergy educate true patriots of the Fatherland
Speaking at the Christmas service at the church named after St. John the Miracle Worker of Shanghai and San Francisco in Minsk, the President addressed words of sincere gratitude to the clergy
“I want to traditionally thank our clergy. More than three thousand of them serve the Belarusian people. They honour these bright holidays, and – simply speaking – are doing a great job, especially in the present time after the well-known year of 2020 when people realised a lot, in this difficult time when the perimeter of our peaceful and calm Belarus is so restless. By doing a great job, our clergy educate true patriots of our Fatherland,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The Head of State added, “At last, many of our people have begun to understand that they are not needed anywhere except their land.”
