Lukashenko on refusal of some Western countries to participate in COP29: no need to suffer
The problems of climate change will not bypass the Western countries – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in an interview with the AnewZ TV channel (COP29 main partner in Azerbaijan)
The journalists noted that the leaders of some Western countries had refused to participate in the World Climate Action Summit in Baku and asked the opinion of the Belarusian President on the matter.
“They think that everything will be fine, the climate will not change, and it [the process of climate change] will bypass the West,” the Head of State openly shared his view. “That is, they think it will be okay, but it won't be so. Well, as regards sufferings because of their refusal to come, it is no need to be captured by these feelings. The Lord sees.”
