Lukashenko on new National History Museum: it will be possible to get convinced there that Belarusians have rich history
When visiting a new National History Museum, it will be possible to make sure that Belarusians are people with rich history – as noted by President Aleksandr Lukashenko at a meeting with the MotoVeloZavod and Minsk City Technopark employees today
The Head of State stressed that Belarusians had begun to develop their statehood in the local lands, “There were the principalities of Turov and Polotsk… We will show there [at the museum] that Belarusians are not the nation without the past, we will demonstrate that our history is rich.”
The museum is planned to be built in a park opposite the Independence Palace, not far from the Supreme Court building. Aleksandr Lukashenko said it would be a large-scale project, “A complex will be created where you will come and be proud that you live in our country.”
