Lukashenko named main goal of improvement works: we have to make it beautiful
All territories should be tidied up and made beautiful. During today’s visit to Minsk City Technopark, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said that he sees this as the main goal of the improvement works, BelTA reports.
The Head of State drew the officials’ attention to the construction in and around Minsk, for which many unused pieces of land could be used.
“Behind the ring road, inside the ring road, there are a lot of such scraps of one and a half to two hectares. We have to use them wisely,” he said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko explained that infrastructure should be brought to such territories, roads should be built and they should be divided into plots.
“People will be happy to buy. It’s in Minsk,” the President is convinced.
In this regard, he gave a number of specific instructions and scaled up the task as a whole within the framework of the improvement works being carried out in the country.
“So that we don’t have this: it’s beautiful, clean and neat in the centre, while there are unused pieces of land somewhere else. We have to make it beautiful. This is the point of improvement. Everywhere, including in villages. It is necessary to put everything in order,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
As reported, this year has been declared the Year of Improvement in Belarus.
