Lukashenko on media work during election campaign: we need to show people what we’ve achieved
During the election campaign, the Belarusian media should work calmly and show people the results of what the country has achieved recently, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko noted while being reported on topical issues of the country’s information policy
The Head of State said that the media cover the most relevant topics, while underlining the importance of their preparation for the election campaign, “During this election campaign, we have to show what we have achieved over this time. There’s no need to fabricate anything. We obviously have something to show our people. Yes, we have drawbacks, but what can be done, we all have them. Anyway, much has been done, and we need to show it to our people, enabling them to determine what to do and who to choose.”
The Belarusian leader stresses that it is not necessary to be solid supporters of the current President, if he is a candidate, “We need to show calmly what we have.”
