“Your friendly country can rightfully be proud of the successes achieved over the years of its existence in socio-economic development and ensuring the well-being of citizens,” the Head of State noted in his congratulations to the King of Saudi Arabia. “Today the Kingdom enjoys well-deserved prestige on the world stage, playing a significant role in resolving the most pressing issues on the international agenda. “I’m confident that intensifying the dialogue between Minsk and Riyadh, including on issues of trade-economic, investment and humanitarian co-operation, fully meets the common interests of our countries.”
In a congratulatory message to the Crown Prince, the President of Belarus underlined that, despite the geographical distance, Minsk and Riyadh are united by the desire to implement peaceful, unifying initiatives.
“The economies of our countries are complementary. We have a lot to offer Saudi Arabia in the areas of industry, agriculture, education, and other areas of liaisons. I’m convinced of the need to intensify trade and expand contacts at all levels,” noted Aleksandr Lukashenko.
