Lukashenko: may radiance of Christmas light up every family with happiness

President Aleksandr Lukashenko has heartily congratulated Orthodox Christians of Belarus on the feast of the Nativity of Christ

“At this wonderful time, when hearts of millions of believers are warmed by the magic of one of the brightest Christian holidays, we feel unity with the entire Orthodox world, are filled with a special sense of belonging to the great sacrament and prove our faith by good deeds,” the President said.

As noted by the Head of State, the main Christian values — sincere love for people around, wisdom, openness, and mercy — have been and still remain a real guiding star for Belarusians. “Knowing first-hand the value of peace and harmony, friendship and good neighbourliness, we are always ready to lend a helping hand in a difficult situation and share joyful moments,” he added.

“May the radiance of Christmas light up every family with happiness, strengthen your homes, fill them with a unique atmosphere of mutual understanding and warmth,” Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Orthodox Christians.
