Lukashenko: mass media are a real weapon now
Post-truth, endless fake news, public opinion manipulations are no less effective now than any military intervention, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said on October 31st, at the 2nd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security
Touching on the matters of information security, the Head of State pointed out that mass media are now a real weapon.
“Post-truth, endless fake news, public opinion manipulations, theft, coup d'état conspiracies are transnational and more powerful now than any military intervention. Georgia is but one example,” he said.
Latest developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnologies, neural networks, and quantum physics are increasingly being used to beget technologies than can destroy humanity, the President believes.
