Despite the supplies of Belarusian potash fertilisers are being blocked due to sanctions, the President indicated, “I have plenty of requests from the states (which I would not name here) who propose to unite efforts in producing and selling complex, mixed fertilisers. We should agree to that.”
Bu doing this, Belarus could supply potassium to certain countries, where fertilisers would be mixed at factories and immediately shipped abroad.
“The demand is huge! Actually, there will always be a great demand for food, but what food is possible without mineral fertilisers? Nothing is possible. Therefore, we need to join the states with which we can produce these fertilisers," the Belarusian leader set the task to the new Head of Belaruskali.
Aleksandr Lukashenko added that fertilisers can be further refined on domestically – ‘so that to sell them at a higher price’.
