Lukashenko given symbolic key to international standard swimming pool
Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Zhang Wenchuan handed over a symbolic key to the facility to President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko at today’s grand opening ceremony of the international standard swimming pool
The Head of State, in turn, handed the key to the athlete-instructor of the national team of the Republic of Belarus in invasport, 21-time Paralympic champion Ihar Boki, and the athlete-instructor of the national team of the Republic of Belarus in modern pentathlon, bronze medallist of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing Anastasiya Prokopenko.
Together with the Chinese diplomat and the athletes, Aleksandr Lukashenko cut a symbolic ribbon. After that, he got acquainted with the equipment and organisational aspects of the pool’s work.
