Lukashenko: EEC needs to establish permanent channel for sharing information with SCO members in transport sector
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) needs to establish a permanent channel for sharing information with the SCO member states in the field of transport services – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during today’s meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in an expanded format in Moscow
In general, the Head of State noted the well-coordinated work both at the national and supranational levels, “We’ve managed to find solutions on alternative routes for the supply of goods, agree (albeit temporarily) on the transhipment, and agree on new conditions for crossing borders. Nevertheless, the EEC needs today to establish a permanent channel for sharing information with the SCO member states, primarily with China. This is necessary for more precise management of cargo flows and organisation of efficient operation of border crossings.”
