Lukashenko congratulates procuracy officers on Prosecutor’s Office centenary
The Head of State, Aleksandr Lukashenko, recorded a video message on the occasion 100th anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office of Belarus, BelTA reports
“The centennial anniversary is a milestone that binds together the history of the destinies of many generations – those who were at the origins of the creation of the Belarusian statehood, and those who cherish the best traditions of the service today. You ensure national security, protection of our country’s sovereignty and constitutional order. Thank you for your loyalty to professional duty, devotion to the Motherland and careful attitude to the historical memory of our people. These days, the results of your investigation of the facts of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War are more important for us than ever. The collected evidence, the established circumstances of the crimes of Nazism are an adequate response to the challenge we face. We now need to preserve the most valuable thing in our country – peace, tranquillity, and stability, to multiply the achievements of the Belarusian people, to create conditions for further strengthening, development and prosperity of Belarus. While protecting the rights of citizens and the interests of the state, the Prosecutor's Office should be at the forefront of solving these tasks,” the Belarusian leader said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished prosecutors and their relatives good health, well-being, peaceful sky over their heads and new achievements for the good of the Fatherland.
