President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on his birthday, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“Your life is an example of selfless service to the ideals of goodness and mercy. Your tireless work for the benefit of the Orthodox Church and society gives people confidence and peace of mind. Through your pastoral word calling to preserve Christian values and cultural heritage our spiritual foundations are enriched. Your contribution to the development of interethnic dialogue and strengthening of Belarusian-Russian friendship is especially valuable,” the congratulatory message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill health of mind and body, peace and God’s help in all his endeavours.
