Lukashenko confirmed Belarus' interest in intensifying political dialogue with Zambia

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Republic of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema and the friendly Zambian people on the 60th anniversary of independence, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Over this period, Zambia has achieved the right to pursue an independent domestic and foreign policy, and has made significant progress in creating a solid economic base," the Head of State noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko confirmed Belarus' interest in intensifying the political dialogue with Zambia, as well as in developing co-operation in trade, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other fields. “Belarus is ready to implement joint projects in the fields of agriculture, food security, mining and processing of minerals, industrial co-operation, creation and training of units to combat natural and man-made disasters,” the congratulatory message reads.

The President also invited Hakainde Hichilema to visit Belarus to discuss promising areas of co-operation.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the President of Zambia good health and success, also wishing peace and prosperity to all Zambians.
