Lukashenko: CIS activity gaining particular importance for regional security and stability
The Commonwealth of Independent States activity is gaining a particular importance for consolidating efforts to strengthen regional security – as noted by Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko in his response message to the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
"Dear Sadyr Nurgozhoyevich, thank you for the message and warm congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the CIS Charter signing. I fully share your point of view that the Commonwealth has made it as a representative integration association in the post-Soviet space, playing a significant role in the development of a dialogue between the participating states on the basis of their historical community. In these difficult times, its activity is of a particular importance for consolidating efforts in the name of strengthening regional security, peace and economic stability," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
The President expressed his conviction that, in the year of Kyrgyzstan's presidency, joint work will make a significant contribution to the CIS further strengthening, improving the well-being of all the peoples of the Commonwealth.
The Head of State wished Sadyr Japarov good health, happiness and success in creative work, also wishing prosperity and confidence in the future to all residents of Kyrgyzstan.
