Lukashenko: Belarus, Oman confidently moving forward, strengthening co-operation in all spheres
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and the residents of this country on National Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
"This major holiday symbolises the unity and power of your country, as well as the pride in its achievements," the congratulatory message reads. "Your efforts to develop Oman as a centre of economic and political stability in the region, strategic initiatives to modernise infrastructure create conditions for the growth of the well-being of Omani citizens and strengthen the international authority of the Sultanate."
The Head of State noted that Belarus and Oman have been confidently moving forward, strengthening their co-operation in all spheres over the past three decades of friendship.
“I count on your personal support in the implementation of the agreements reached to expand trade turnover, industrial partnership with an emphasis on joint production, the development of transport and logistics routes and investment projects, and increasing co-operation in the field of information technology and humanitarian spheres," the President stressed. "I will be very glad to meet with you to discuss the prospects for the development of our relations."
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Haitham bin Tariq Al Said excellent health and the implementation of his plans, also wishing peace and further progress to the people of Oman.
