Lukashenko: Belarus, Kazakhstan can overcome any sanctions, barriers and restrictions
Belarus and Kazakhstan can find mutually beneficial areas of co-operation, despite the threat of sanctions pressure – as stated by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, during his today’s meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Yerlan Baizhanov
The Head of State is convinced, “If we continue moving in the direction that interests Belarus and Kazakhstan, we can overcome sanctions, as well as any barriers and obstacles. You should know that you are a friend to us and we’ll provide every possible support in your diplomatic mission.”
Yerlan Baizhanov, in turn, thanked the Belarusian leader for the opportunity to meet, admitting that he regards it as a special sign of Aleksandr Lukashenko’s personal attention to the bilateral agenda of relations with Kazakhstan.
The diplomat added that he intends to continue traveling around the country and enterprises, and his impressions are ‘the most serious’, “First of all, I’m delighted with Belarus’ technological development, its industrial potential and, of course, with its people. Everyone, from chief engineers to ordinary workers, wants to develop further.”
