Lukashenko appointed new Presidential Aide for Gomel Region and updated local power vertical
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has appointed today a new Aide to the President – Inspector for the Gomel Region. This position was taken by Yuri Gorlov, who previously worked as Chairman of the Molodechno District Executive Committee.

The Head of State also agreed to the appointment of Gennady Sabynich as Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee. Before that, he headed the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Sergei Semenychev moved from the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee to the post of Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee. From now on, the former Director of Mayak Vysokoe JSC of the Orsha District, Oleg Makarevich, will head the Senno District Executive Committee, while the ex-Chairman of the Gantsevichi District Executive Committee, Vladimir Belov, has been agreed to the position of Chairman of the Ivatsevichi District Executive Committee. The Gantsevichi District will now be headed by Viktor Rafalovich, who previously headed the Luninets District Council of Deputies. Meanwhile, Dmitry Shinkarenko replaced the post of Head of the Agriculture and Food Committee of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee with the post of Chairman of the Korma Regional Executive Committee. And the Director of Nadneman JSC of the Uzda District, Dmitry Chigir, will now head the Dribin District Executive Committee.
