Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree announcing the President’s Gratitude to Governor of Russia’s Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
Valery Limarenko has been granted the Gratitude of the President of Belarus for his high professionalism and significant contribution to the implementation of the investment project on the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
In 2007-2018, he headed Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company Atomenergoproekt and personally supervised the work on preparations for the construction of the BelNPP first power unit, participated in the development of Russia-Belarus intergovernmental agreement on co-operation in the construction of a nuclear power plant and a general contract for its construction.
