Kuntsevich: Belarusians feel positive about government decisions
Belarusians feel positive about government decisions concerning regional development, the First Deputy Information Minister Andrei Kuntsevich told News.By when asked to comment on the poll data showing relatively high trust for the President and the government of Belarus
Elaborating on the topic, Mr. Kuntsevich said, “That was an objective result of the policies implemented by our President and the national government at all levels. People now do react to measures taken by the authorities in a positive way. I would say that is not only true for the nation-wide initiatives, but for regional ones as well.”
He mentioned the One District – One Project programme as an example: it covers over 200 regional projects and is projected to create more than 10,000 new jobs.
“That drew very positive reactions from the regions. People see that solutions offered by the Belarusian leader and our government are focused on uniform development of our entire country, not just Minsk and the regional centres,” said the Deputy Minister.
