KGB: citizens of Belarus and Russia, under Ukrainian intelligence officer leadership, planned terrorist attacks in Grodno
Citizens of Belarus and Russia, under the leadership of a Ukrainian special services officer, planned terrorist attacks in Grodno, targeting several objects at once, including the Russian Consulate General – as the ONT TV channel was reported in the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus
According to the Belarusian and Russian special services, Vyacheslav Rozum, an employee of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, was in charge of recruiting agents. One of them is Aleksei Kulikov of Russia. A year ago, he left the country, running away from the draft. Russian oppositionist Daniil Krinari (Kovalevsky) helped him get to Grodno. In 2022, Rozum tasked Krinari with forming an agent network. But in December, at the request of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), he was detained in Grodno and extradited to the Russian Federation. Before his arrest, he managed to recruit at least two people: Kulikov and another citizen of Belarus, Vadim Patsenko. Before the arrest, Krinari managed to transfer the data of the recruits to Rozum.
“The Ukrainian intelligence officer set the task of blowing up the oil depot with the help of a drone and explosives. After that, a plan was thought out how to do it and from where. We have agreed on where the operator and the drone will be located,” Vadim Patsenko said in his talk with the ONT TV channel.
It is noted that Kulikov and Patsenko were promised $10,000 for setting fire to the oil depot, as well as transportation abroad. But in the end, the Ukrainian special services deceived them.
The defendants were arrested and are currently making confession.
