KGB Chairman: turning point in special operation in Ukraine may occur in November-February

About fifty Western European countries are fighting against the Russian Federation in Ukraine today – as stated by the Chairman of the State Security Committee, Ivan Tertel, during a briefing aimed at informing representatives of the state administration on the emerging military-political situation in the country and abroad

“If the Russian Federation conducts a qualitative mobilisation campaign, provides its grouping with the necessary technical means and advanced weapons, then the military operation will enter a key phase. Based on our estimates, a turning point will be in the period from November 2022 to February 2023,” Mr. Tertel said.

The Chairman of the State Security Committee noted that Ukraine is taking another step in achieving goals related to the redivision of the world. Russia here acts as a goal – being a stage to start solving problems dealing with China. There is an attempt now to force Russia to talk to the West, to make concessions. Another point, according to Mr. Tertel, is that about 50 countries of Western Europe are fighting against Russia on the territory of Ukraine for various reasons. This is not an unfounded statement, but a statement of facts.

“The operation – carried out on the territory of Ukraine against the Russian group – is planned from the UK and the US. There is a large number of mercenaries. For example, a large group of mercenaries was recorded in the Kherson direction yesterday. These are mostly Poles, Lithuanians and Americans; there are also representatives of other countries," the KGB Chairman stressed.

As regards forecasting of the future situation, Mr. Tertel noted that – due to objective and subjective factors – it is impossible to predict to the end what it will result in. Russia has taken the most important steps in the sphere of holding a referendum and partial mobilisation.
