Kazakhstan offers Belarus to create joint industrial co-operation fund
As noted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus, Yerlan Baizhanov, after his today’s meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Kazakhstan offers Belarus to create a joint industrial co-operation fund
In particular, the diplomat noted that he had recently visited a number of large enterprises in the regions of Belarus, “They are technologically very advanced. There are several companies in almost every region of Belarus that we would like to see operating in Kazakhstan. It is about localisation of production, not just about trade supplies. This is a longer-term and more fundamental co-operation, and we are guiding our Belarusian partners towards this approach.”
Mr. Baizhanov added that such investment projects require more significant support from the states, governments, and financial institutions, “I proposed to create a joint bilateral industrial co-operation fund. That was one of the ideas discussed during today’s meeting.”
