Japan will host Formula E racing for first time

Tokyo will host the leading world championship among electric vehicles on March 30th, 2024, The Japan News reports

The Tokyo Government announced Formula E race will take place on closed public roads around the Tokyo Big Sight convention centre in Koto Ward on the Tokyo Bay waterfront.

The source clarified that, unlike classic motor racing, Formula E uses only all-electric cars that do not make loud noises and do not emit exhaust.

Formula E started in 2014, and seventeen rounds are planned around the world in its 10th season, the seventh of which will be held in Tokyo.
