“According to the latest data, half of all people on Earth already live in urban environments, and that number is trending up. IT solutions, therefore, become key tools for improving the quality of municipal and housing property management. Residents of the High Tech Park have a broad range of IT solutions in their portfolio that would help optimise urban processes and significantly improve the quality of life in mega-cities,” the press service informed.

The HTP media representatives added that in the course of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s visit to Minsk, HTP resident companies took part in the exhibition of Belarusian-made municipal and housing management technologies set up by Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ).

One of the resident companies, for instance, offers software-hardware suites that analyse air quality in real time. Their products are used with success even at the Belarusian Antarctic station. A regional monitoring system with over 300 stations on a single digital platform is already operational in the Moscow Region.

Another project at the exhibition was the ‘smart entryphone’ system that integrates the entire residential complex infrastructure management in one app, minimising equipment and service costs.

Yet another HTP resident company presented their innovation payment system that has recently been expanded with a new function for Russian cross-border payments via QR codes.

“IT companies’ involvement in the exhibition serves to highlight Belarusian developers’ potential when it comes to creating smart and comfortable urban environments; it also demonstrates how important Belarusian-made IT solutions are for modernising urban services and integrating modern technologies into urban system management,” added the press service.
