Head of President Administration: external forces have already inspired 7 attempts at colour revolutions in Belarus
The Belarusian people independently make all decisions and determine their own fate, without external instructions and handouts, and for this our country is constantly subjected to foreign sanctions – as stated by Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi in Moscow during his speech at a reception in honour of Belarus’ Independence Day
According to Mr. Krutoi, in modern conditions, the right to make all decisions independently has turned out to be a huge privilege.
“Therefore, since 1997, our country has been constantly subjected to Western sanctions. External forces have already inspired 7 attempts at colour revolutions. Opponents have never hidden their goals of forcibly overthrowing the constitutional order, removing the President from power and establishing a puppet regime in Belarus – similar to certain well-known states. All these attempts failed. Firm political will, the fight against corruption and extremism, a principled attitude to the growth of the prestige of the army, law enforcement agencies and special services, alongside the consolidation of Belarusian society around our leader, the ideas of sovereignty and social justice enable Belarus to successfully move forward,” the Head of the President Administration concluded.
