Guest from Ecuador appreciates Slavianski Bazaar’s homely, warm atmosphere
The City of Masters, one of the most popular and favourite venues of the Slavianski Bazaar, is beginning its work as part of the 32nd festival, gathering 280 masters from Belarus and Russia
The geography, including from Russia, is the widest – including Pskov, Nizhny Tagil, Orenburg, Udmurtia, Komi, Kabardino-Balkaria, and other cities. Among the craftsmen is also a guest from Ecuador: Juan Rosales is participating in Vitebsk’s On Seven Winds street fest and also presenting his handmade souvenirs: multi-coloured braided bracelets and elegant ancient-styled amulets. His dream catchers are light as a feather. The variety makes eyes run away. The smiling craftsman is not deprived of the attention of buyers.
“It is my third time at the Slavianski Bazaar. I appreciate the partylike and at the same time homely, warm holiday atmosphere, friendly people, lots of music and positivity around. Together with my band, where I sing and play drums, we will perform at On Seven Winds venue. I am often asked of where I learnt Russian, and I can explain: I studied economics in Grodno. At the Slavianski Bazaar, I set myself a goal — to see as many bright moments as possible, and also be sure to treat myself to dishes of Belarusian national cuisine,” the foreigner shared his emotions.
