Greek General: Kiev committed a crime by transferring hostilities to cities
The Ukrainian command has made a serious mistake by transferring hostilities to the cities where civilians live, thus committing a crime against the people of Ukraine – as noted by the retired Major General of the Greek Air Force, General Secretary of the Greek-Russian Union, President of the Society of Friends of Crimea in Greece, Pavlos Christou, RIA Novosti reports
As noted by Mr. Christou, wars should be only fought between armies. “Ukraine moved the war to the cities which have not been left by their residents, so there are heavy losses. Civilians are dying. It is a war crime when you bomb, fight and keep civilians in the centre of hostilities, when you set up military bases in a city, in hospitals," he added.
Mr. Christou reminded that Kiev ignores international laws. According to Mr. Christou, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commits crimes against his own people.
