Golovchenko: government to fully realise all social programmes, projects

The social focus of all government branches is a brand in Belarus, said PM Roman Golovchenko after attending the opening ceremony for a new polyclinic in Smolevichi
“Our budget will definitely remain socially focused. Although a budget deficit is planned for the next year, our healthcare spending will grow 12 percent, education – 14 percent, and family capital expenditures – 9 percent. More housing will be built. The government is going to fully realise all social programmes and projects. Which have been, incidentally, planned to expand," the PM said.

Mr. Golovchenko also pointed out that about 20 new healthcare facilities will open next year.

“10 new schools and 20 kindergartens will be built. All that is going to be done. I see no problem with keeping true to all our social commitments,” he added.
