Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated earlier that Georgian Dream had resolved to suspend all EU ascension talks till the end of 2028.

Petitions from various public servants condemning that decision have been published by Georgian media for days.

“These days, there have been attempts to destroy government institutions through employee sabotage: a part of the coup d’etat plan. There were petitions made by the same hand. 229 mayor’s office employees signed it, it I’m not mistaken,” Mr. Kaladze said.

He added that the government will respond to the attempted sabotage, but strictly within the confines of the Constitution and the law.
