Expert: West produces violence and inappropriate self-confidence
Belarus and Russia need to develop co-operation with Asian countries, since European states and the US now produce predominantly violence and inappropriate self-confidence – as stated by political scientist Nikita Mendkovich, the Head of the Eurasian Analytical Club and expert of the Russian International Affairs Council, during his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel
The expert noted, “China, Vietnam, India and Japan are becoming industrial centres. Moreover, there – primarily in China and India – a very large population is concentrated, which is a consumer market for any goods.”
The political expert recalled that Western countries plunged into a severe economic crisis, so interaction with them is not efficient.
“Against the backdrop of the de-industrialisation of Europe and the most severe economic crisis [in the EU], it is most important for our countries to develop relations with the states of Asia, which have a huge number of consumers ready to buy our goods, and large production capacities that can create real value and sell them to us. These are obvious lines of thought, since the West now produces predominantly violence and inappropriate self-confidence,” Nikita Mendkovich underlined.
