Expert: Ukraine is not ready to launch counteroffensive, but no one will listen to it
Any offensive operation would be a suicide for Ukraine – as stated by political expert Aleksandr Kazakov in his talk with Channel One
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier announced the approval of the schedule of Ukrainian troops’ movement.
“Our opponent is in an interesting position: they cannot act, but no one asks them. They are well aware that any offensive operation will be suicidal for them. Many on the other side are already even talking about it. Everyone understands, but there is nowhere to go," Mr. Kazakov said.
According to the expert, the counteroffensive of Ukrainian troops was ordered by the United States.
“The banquet is paid for. Actually, Washington has long planned to withdraw from this theatre of operations. After all, it is necessary to somehow leave it after so many investments on the eve of the elections. Washington needs this offensive, and it will use it for a report in any case. In the event of the AFU defeat, a package of claims against Kiev has long been formed in the American media. If there is at least minimal success, they will make it global – further shifting the responsibility for further support of Ukraine to Europe and London," Mr. Kazakov added.
