Expert: OSCE/ODIHR is institution for manipulating internal political processes in other countries
OSCE/ODIHR is an institution for manipulating political processes in other countries and promoting the politicians who benefit the West – as stated by a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Director General of the National Library of Belarus Vadim Gigin, in his talk with Alfa Radio
Belarus’ main political event is to take place in just two weeks, and the number of national and international observers intending to monitor the Presidential election in the country continues to grow. “International observers will come to us. These people want to study our experience, while we will learn something from them. It is important. I know how closely the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Igor Karpenko, is monitoring the global experience in organising voting, the work of commissions, and information support," Mr. Gigin said.
The deputy added, “As for the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, it has become a neo-colonialist structure. It was created with completely different goals, but the organisation ceased performing its functions. It does not guarantee either security or co-operation in Europe, and it has transformed into an instrument of the Western world’s influence. OSCE/ODIHR is an institution for manipulating internal political processes in other countries, primarily in Eastern Europe. When speaking of manipulation, I mean the promotion of the narratives and politicians who are beneficial to the West. Differently speaking, it is the promotion of puppet figures, and elections are not recognised if these people do not become heads of state. We need no ODIHR to recognise the election legitimacy.”
