Expert: obeying USA and UK forced Germany into mass layoffs

Widespread staff layoffs in Germany are the consequence of kowtowing to Anglo-Saxons, believes Aleksei Avdonin, an analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research (BISR). He explained his opinion to Alfa Radio.

The laws of economics, just like the laws of physics, cannot be ignored, said the expert.

“Germany pushed for an economic miracle that would run contrary to the basic laws of commodity production. After they followed the Anglo-Saxons in their anti-Russian sanctions policy and got their pipelines blown up, the Germans lost their source of cheap fuel. All their nuclear stations had been shut down back in the 1970s. No cheap fuel means no cheap energy, no steel, no petrochemical industry, no semi-finished goods needed for mechanical engineering, aircraft construction, or telecom sectors. German-made goods became too expensive, and therefore, less competitive. The Germans were drawn into the funnel of lies, and their companies found themselves sliding into bankruptcy,” he explained.

According to Mr. Avdonin, German companies have to cut down their workforce to minimise costs.

“People are thrown out on the street. The unemployment benefits is a burden that can be kicked down to the government. And the government with no independent foreign policy has debts. Who can the Germans borrow from? From the Americans and the British, and that means political subordination. Germany has been trying to break out of the Anglo-Saxon ghetto for the last 30 years, but to no avail. In the next few years, they will be getting progressively weaker,” he added.
