Expert explained why Lukashenko is unique compared to European politicians
Aleksandr Lukashenko is always responsible for his words and is not afraid to speak the truth, which distinguishes him from many politicians in other countries – as noted by political scientist Vadim Borovik in his talk with Alfa Radio
Aleksandr Lukashenko’s interview with journalist Diana Panchenko was translated into the Polish language. The video has become very popular among the people of Poland, with citizens of the neighbouring country asking in the comments to continue to translate the Belarusian Head of State’s interviews.
“What is Aleksandr Lukashenko’s uniqueness? Taking into account the interests of our country and the nuances that any politician takes into account, he still speaks like a free person. Most of the interviews of EU politicians are interviews of persons who are in some way dependent on Washington,” Vadim Borovik noted.
According to him, European politicians often change their point of view when the situation requires it.
“Look at [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz. At first, he had peaceful statements about Ukraine that they would not supply weapons and tanks. After a call from Washington they are already supplying everything,” the expert stressed.
Vadim Borovik drew attention to the fact that Aleksandr Lukashenko is the leader who can voice what worries the heads and ordinary residents of many states.
“These include an unfair distribution of world resources, unreasonable manipulation of finances by the United States, control of the financial system, interference in internal affairs, honestly about the Ukrainian crisis. Being an ally of Russia, the President tries to speak from the point of view of understanding the position of the Ukrainian people as well, I’m not talking about the Ukrainian establishment,” added Vadim Borovik.
Speaking about the President’s interview to Diana Panchenko, the political scientist noted, “The interview is useful, necessary, honest, and frank. Our leader answered all questions, there were no double-dealing that we see in some politicians. He answered absolutely honestly and frankly, as a person who is not afraid to speak the truth, which, in principle, distinguishes him from many others.”
