Direct flight to connect Belarus and Venezuela
The preparation of an air service agreement between Belarus and Venezuela is at its final stage – as informed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to Belarus, Franklin Ramirez Araque
The diplomat noted that the close relations established between the two states over the past 20 years continue to develop and retain certain dynamism.
“We are actively co-operating on international platforms, and much attention is paid to bilateral relations. A new stage has begun in the history of our states and in their relations. We are an object of unilateral coercive measures, which Venezuela has been under for a long time, and Belarus has begun to feel their strong impact in recent years. Therefore, we are united by a single goal: countering the consequences of these restrictive measures and fighting for the preservation of sovereignty and independence," Franklin Ramirez Araque said. “Against the background of the new geopolitical situation, we are working within the framework of bilateral relations. Work is also underway in the field of healthcare, with focus on imports and production of medicines. Of course, the existing projects are not ignored. Among them are the assembly plants launched in Venezuela.”
The ambassador added that work is underway to prepare the ninth meeting of the joint Belarusian-Venezuelan commission.
