Deputy PM treated journalists to powdered milk candies, which he presented to the President

During today’s report to President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats spoke about the implementation of the Head of State’s recent instruction on the production of candies from pressed powdered milk. At the end of the report, Leonid Zayats revealed the details of the new product and treated journalists to an unusual delicacy.

The Deputy PM said that such products are manufactured in China. In Belarus, the first samples of such candies have now been made. The novelty is available in tablet form, “The taste is quite good, containing natural ingredients: whole milk powder, whey, lactose. Fruit fillers are added. This is only one type, eight of them were produced in total. The President has set a task: by the end of this year, it is necessary to reach mass production for both domestic consumption and export supplies. We have raw materials, there is enough of it. Therefore, we must learn to do what has not been done before.”
