Denmark to give 19 Caesar howitzers mounts to Ukraine

Copenhagen will donate 19 French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzers to Kiev – as noted by Denmark’s Acting Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, RIA Novosti reports

Poulsen arrived in Odessa, where, together with Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov, he held a press conference, during which he said that Copenhagen could transfer artillery installations to Kiev within a month.

The decision to transfer equipment ordered from France to Ukraine was made by the Danish authorities back in January 2023.

Earlier it became known that Denmark and Norway will jointly supply Ukraine with 8,000 155mm NATO artillery shells, which will be an addition to Caesar.
