Defence Ministry: Ukrainian S-300 missile shot down by Belarus’ air defence forces

On December 29th, at around 10am, an air target was hit by Belarus’ air defence forces, the Telegram channel of the Defence Ministry reports

The fragments were found in an agricultural field near the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo District, Brest Region.

“As a result of the inspection it has been preliminary established that the wreckage belongs to a S-300 anti–aircraft guided missile fired from the territory of Ukraine,” the Defence Ministry said in a statement.

The Defence Ministry will share details of the incident later.
