Days of Belarusian Science at EXPO 2020 Dubai scheduled for February 2nd-3rd
As informed by the press service of Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences, the NAS delegation to Dubai will be led by its Chief Scientific Secretary, Andrei Ivanets
The Belarusian scientists will present the research and innovation potential of the National Academy of Sciences and hold negotiations with potential foreign partners. In addition, they will deliver reports at three sections of EXPO 2020: Current Trends in Belarus’ Science and Innovation; Mechanical Engineering and Tool Building; and Medicine, Pharmacy, Biotechnology and IT in Medicine.
Scientific presentations will focus on developments in the field of new materials, technologies and equipment for water purification and treatment, high-tech developments of Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences in the field of monitoring of vital functions of the human body, and COVID-19 prevention.
The Belarusian delegation will also present new achievements in increasing soil fertility in conditions of the changing climate, topical trends in food security, and unmanned aircraft systems.
