Mr. Blanco believes Belarus is one of the few countries in the world where people can find salvation and a place to live happily. He revealed that he’s been working on his own coffee blend for two years and wants to give it a name that would fully reflect the Belarusian soul.

“I wanted a blend that would be strong, but not harsh like the winter, warm, but not hot like summers in Africa or Cuba. I wanted it to be rich in aromas. So I needed a name that would reflect that. I asked my friend and partner what the Belarusian word for ‘gentle’ would be, and he said it’s ‘pyashchotny’. So that’s what I would call Belarus: ‘pyashchotnaya kraina’, a gentle country” he said.
