China’s Ministry of Commerce: the US undermining security of global industrial chains
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that the United States has long held back enterprises from other countries, undermining the security of global industrial and supply chains, RIA Novosti reports
Earlier, the US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions on six Chinese companies for the activities that were allegedly detrimental to the US national security.
A statement on the website of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China reads that China expresses strong dissatisfaction and strongly opposes the actions of the United States. It is also noted that the United States for a long time ‘has generalised the concept of national security, abused export control measures, sanctioned and suppressed enterprises from other countries including China, seriously damaged the legitimate rights and interests of these enterprises, and undermined the security and stability of the global industrial and supply chains’.
