China’s Ambassador: US provoking conflicts in Asia-Pacific region to contain China
The United States of America is deliberately creating a conflict in the Asia-Pacific region (APR) in order to contain China – as stated by Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang, noting that these clashes are a threat to peace and stability, TASS reports
The Chinese diplomat noted that the US is using its advantages in the global economic system to provoke trade wars and technological blockades, “The US disrupts global industrial and supply chains and harms the world economy. The so-called Indo-Pacific strategy of the United States is actually a political tool to contain China.”
He warned that all US attempts to contain China will fail and in the end this could turn against it.
“This is evidenced by the significant scientific and technological progress achieved by China in recent years. China firmly believes that the winner-take-all hegemony runs counter to the flow of history, to the progress of human society, and to the people’s desire for peace and development in this region and the world,” Han Zhiqiang stressed.
