China keen on Pripyatsky National Park’s hunting management experience
The hunting management experience in the Pripyatsky National Park became the main object of interest for the members of the Chinese delegation, who visited this environmental protection institution
“Within the framework of cultural exchange and co-operation in the field of hunting, the Chinese delegation visited the Pripyatsky National Park, where they got acquainted with the unique natural conditions and fauna of our region,” the park’s press service reported. “The guests from China were also deeply interested in hunting management. Among the key points of the visit was the hunting dog training enclosure and the Smolovitsa hunting enclosure, where the delegates were able to see in action the work of dogs specially trained for hunting. There was also a demonstration of wild boar hunting.”
In addition, the PRC representatives visited the Museum of Nature, where they learnt about the diversity of flora and fauna of the area, as well as environmental initiatives aimed at protecting the environment. The tour concluded with the Open Air Museum, which presented the cultural heritage and traditions of local residents.
“The Chinese delegation expressed interest in further co-operation and exchange of experience in the field of hunting,” the environmental protection agency said. “This visit was an important step towards strengthening international ties and assisting in the development of hunting tourism.”
