Canada to block energy supplies to the US if Trump imposes tariffs

Canada may stop supplying electricity and energy resources to the United States if President-elect Donald Trump decides to impose 25 percent tariffs on all Canadian goods – as noted by Premier of Ontario Doug Ford, TASS reports

"We will do anything depending on how far it goes. We will use all the tools available – up to disconnecting it [US] from the energy we supply,” Mr. Ford said.

The Premier of Ontario made such a statement following his online meeting with Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that focused on tariff issues.
