Borrell called urgent meeting to discuss ‘difficult situation in Georgia’

EU High Representative Josep Borrell called for an urgent meeting of the Political and Security Committee in order to discuss ‘very worrying’ developments in Georgia after the Parliamentary election, TASS reports

“I have asked the Political and Security Committee to convene today for an urgent discussion on the difficult situation in Georgia. I have also put it on the agenda of the November Foreign Affairs Council,” said the top EU diplomat in his published statement.
