Belgospishcheprom plans to expand export portfolio in Middle East
Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Ministry has hosted a meeting with the Chairman of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, Ahmed Bin Suleiman to discuss the expansion of the export portfolio of the Belgospishcheprom Concern enterprises in the Middle East region, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian food industry concern’s press service
“During the meeting, the parties went beyond the declared areas of interest,” Belgospishcheprom Deputy Chairman Aleksandr Yakovchits noted. “In particular, discussion focused on the export interest of the concern’s enterprises in the Middle East. Our organisations supply products to Israel, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye. However, we understand that the existing export portfolio can be significantly expanded.”
According to the Agriculture and Food Ministry, during the negotiations, interest was revealed in co-operation on the supply of meat and other food products from Belarus to the Middle East, as well as on the supply of tea and coffee from the UAE to Belarus.
